How do I use Klarna Financing to place an order?

Using Klarna Financing is a breeze! Add your desired product to the cart and proceed to checkout as usual. Choose the "Pay Over Time" payment method. This kickstarts your Klarna Financing application. Provide the necessary details to check your eligibility. If you're approved, your payment plan is created and your order is placed seamlessly. No need to leave our website – it's a quick process.

Am I eligible?

To use Klarna Financing, you must be at least 18 years old and a UK resident. Your approval hinges on Klarna's assessment of the details you provide and your financial situation. When applying for Klarna Financing, a full credit search will be conducted.

What do I need to provide when making a purchase?

For your purchase, you'll need to provide your name, billing address, email, phone number, employment details, and bank info.

Is a payment required during application?

In some instances, a deposit may be needed upfront. If so, you'll be prompted to make the deposit as part of the Financing application.

Will I be charged interest on a Klarna Financing plan?

Our Financing plans offer credit options with repayment terms ranging from 6 to 36 months. Interest rates vary based on the credit agreement, and they will be clearly indicated at checkout.

How are monthly instalments collected?

Monthly instalments are collected via Direct Debit from your bank account. Make sure your account has sufficient funds to cover the repayment on the due date each month.

Can I set up automatic monthly repayments?

When applying for Klarna Financing, you'll be asked to set up a Direct Debit Mandate. This mandates Klarna to automatically debit your monthly instalments from your bank account. Ensure your account has enough funds to cover repayments each month.

Will I get a confirmation email when using Klarna Financing?

Yes, once you've chosen Klarna Financing for your purchase, you'll receive an email confirming the details. This email includes a link to Klarna’s online portal or app, where you can manage your Klarna purchases. Make sure to provide accurate information during checkout to receive all Klarna communications related to your Financing plan.

Does applying for Klarna Financing impact my credit score?

When you apply for Klarna Financing, Klarna performs a full credit search. Details of this search may appear on your credit file, irrespective of approval. This record could be seen by third parties, lenders, and might influence future credit decisions. For credit check-related questions, contact Klarna’s customer support.

What if I miss a payment?

Your monthly payment must reach Klarna by the due date. Missing or late payments can affect your credit rating, making it harder or more expensive to obtain credit in the future. Klarna might even serve you a default notice, requiring repayment. If missed payments continue, Klarna could terminate your Financing agreement or involve a debt collection agency.
